Who is the Ramble Bamble Girl?

She's over 50 and on a quest to be a better human. It's not that she hasn't tried all along to be the best human possible; #heckyeah it's just that she has a little more time, now that all the other humans, with the exception of the Bob Bird, #31years #lovebird have flown the nest. Those humans have taught and are teaching her, as we speak, so much about self-care, mental health, faith, social justice and the human spirit.

She is me and so I invite you on this journey of becoming.

Adventures will traverse the horizons of mental, physical and spiritual health and may include but are not limited to:

• great hiking (walking) trails around the county and places to find mimosas afterwards #justbreakeven

• wine trails #fingerlakes Instead of being a Walmart greeter as I had planned for my senior citizen gig, I'm going to work at a winery and talk about mangos and hints of apricot and give generous pours. #newflightconcept

• locally owned businesses and what makes them awesome #supportsmallbusiness

• recipes I've made that didn't set off the smoke alarm #overnightoats

• little gems revealed during therapy sessions (ex. "Witnessing really is an action.")

• questions to ask God; fair warning I have a very long list, so if you're in line behind me in heaven for the Q and A, I'm apologizing in advance.

• my faith journey #Godgirl

• crazy unplanned adventures that cause the Bob Bird to say:

"why do things happen to you that don't happen to other people"

"I always knew my life with you would not be boring"

• TBD; I never know what's going to come off the top of head and onto the page.

Full disclosure, I do not have a degree in anything but English. So if by chance something that I've written resonates with you as sage advice, let's call it a happy coincidence. All I know, is that writing helps me make a little more sense of the world, and/or at least it gives me a space to put all the stuff that doesn't make sense into until someone can help me sort it out. #ittakesavillage.
